Elder’s Council Events – Guided Geology Walk
Lindsay Bottomer P.Geo has practised geology for more than 50 years worldwide, mainly in the areas of mineral exploration, mine development and research that last 36 years based in Vancouver. He has been a director and / or officers for more than 20 publicly listed companies and served as a volunteer with numerous community groups. He completed his undergraduate degree in geology at the University of Queensland, Australia and later a Masters degree in Mineral Exploration at McGill University in Montreal. He is past president of the BC & Yukon Chamber of Mines (now AMEBC), served three terms as an elected councillor of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (now EGBC), and has received a number of industry awards.
